| Basket weaving offers a way to connect with nature in an intensely personal and creative way. This relationship begins with the gathering of materials and grows as the basket emerges in the weaver's hands. Participants learn various techniques for coiling and weaving. The baskets are made from pine needles, waxed linen threads, vines, reeds, and an abundance of other natural materials from the Esalen grounds. |
